 Fresh Air
Take a breath of Fresh Air; one of the most entertaining, vibrant hip-hop acts around. Since 1998, Khalil (emcee/producer) and DJ Frank(e) have been filling lungs with refreshing beats and honest, spirited rhymes that take you back to the days when hip-hop was just about that. They were voted in URB's Next 100 (2004) with their classic 12" 'Dreaming' and their critically acclaimed EP "Slowly Coming Along" had heads nodding on both coasts and most places in between. Their new album "The New Old School" promises to move hip-hop forward and still have the same 'back in the day' values and principles that their fans have appreciated over the years. So inhale slowly ... and listen before you exhale. www.myspace.com/freshair

 Zera vaughan
Zera Vaughan is an artist without borders, a global outlook and a desire to make music liberated from conventions. Born in Tunisia to a French mother and British father, Zera commuted between continents and cultures, to connect with family and friends. As a child, the transcontinental experiences bonded Zera with her families, though as she matured, her multinational alliances left her at a tremendous loss for a central place where she could live wholly. Back To The Roots, her debut offering, is an intriguing blend of North African Ethnic rhythms, European club beats and classic American pop balladry. In song and voice, Zera creates a world where all her divergent influences coexist harmoniously, a place that she can fully inhabit and call home.

Since then the band has been on a rollercoaster ride, playing in a myriad of venues across LA, always with good friend and accomplished musician Kestrin Pantera (cello, b. vocals), who joined the circus in December '07.

 Hazelden
Stemming from the underground of the LA music scene, hazelden is strongly expected to be a breakout band in 2008. reflecting on her arduous youth growing up between minneapolis, london and san francisco, the sadly beautiful and awkwardly poetic singer/songwriter/guitar player frontwoman mary jane snow will make you wonder if alternative rock music can really be saved. not to say hazelden has anything against dance beats and pop choruses. drummer pete vasquez, lead guitar travis garrecht and bass player joshua wayne will make sure you get your fill of everything from foot tapping to stage diving, depending on your proximity to the stage.
